Holding space for meaningful change
“Before I could release the weight of my sadness and pain, I first had to honor its existence”.

Hi, My name is Ana
In my experience people seek out therapy for many reasons. Some want symptom relief, some want life or relationship support, some want insight, some want solutions, and some don’t know exactly what they want, but they know they want something better, more, or different out of life. Whatever it is you’re seeking, I’m glad you’re here!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working in grief, loss and bereavement. Working with people at end-of-life and supporting families through the grief process has given me deep insights and expertise in helping people heal through loss. This experience has also given me a different perspective on living, the importance of embracing life, and making choices that impact the quality of life for the better.
My professional experience is wide ranging and includes working with individuals at end-of-life, providing grief counseling within hospice and the community and working within various community health clinics providing counseling to adults, adolescents and children with mental health needs and trauma.
Outside of therapy, I am a wife and a mother of two. I am passionate about nurturing the relationships in my life, spending time at the ocean, morning hikes and exploring new places.
Therapeutically, I have an integrative, holistic, and culturally responsive approach, allowing me to connect with my clients entirely as they are. While I am grounded in a client-centered and strength-based approach, I also borrow from the following modalities to help guide my work: humanistic/existential orientations, attachment-based perspectives, trauma informed care (EMDR), somatic practices, and mindfulness.
I view therapy as a collaborative process in which I value your unique experience and perspective, and tailor my approach to support your goals, strengths and needs. I believe cultivating a non-judgmental, authentic and compassionate space where you can be seen and understood is the foundation to discovering a way forward and accomplishing meaningful change that you deserve.

Please ask if this is something you may need.
I accept cash, check, and credit cards.
I am an out of network provider and I do not bill insurance. However, if you have a PPO, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. I encourage you to check with your insurance provider to understand what reimbursement options may be available.
